Swasth Hindustan Mission® is a national public health awareness and treatment-support initiative registered with NITI Aayog, Government of India. The Mission works at the grassroots to reduce India’s disease burden by empowering citizens with health awareness, preventive education, and ethical access to life saving treatment.

India does not suffer from lack of hospitals alone — it suffers from lack of health literacy. Swasth Hindustan Mission exists to change that.

Biomedical Scientist | President & Co – Founder

Biomedical Scientist | USA A native of Bangalore and a resident of the USA, Dr. Shaafi has spent over two decades working with American and Canadian universities while actively engaging in humanitarian health initiatives. He firmly believes that no amount of treatment can eradicate chronic diseases unless people are trained in prevention. With this vision, he founded Swasth Hindustan Mission, registered with NITI Aayog, Government of India. Under his leadership, SHM has served thousands across India through health education and awareness programs.

Dr. Jay Prakash

A medical college professor and community service specialist, Dr. Jay Prakash is known for his ability to mobilize communities for collective action. He has been actively serving Swasth Hindustan Mission for over a decade.
